Omschrijving
HEKPIJLERS AAN ZUIDZIJDE van het park (onderdeel 4). Tussen de tuinmuur en
het huis gelegen hekpijlers met ijzeren spijlenhek. De pijlers zijn
opgetrokken in mergelsteen, worden afgesloten door een kroonlijst waarboven
geprofileerde afdekplaat met vaasvormig ornamentstuk in mergel. Via een
voluutvormig tussenstuk in baksteen sluit het hek aan op de tuinmuur. Het
hek dateert uit de laatste kwart van de achttiende eeuw.

De HEKPIJLERS AAN ZUIDZIJDE van het park van de historische buitenplaats 't
Gasthuis zijn in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang vanwege:

Description
GATE PILLARS ON THE SOUTH SIDE of the park (component 4). Between the garden wall and the house located gate pillars with iron railings fence. The pillars are built in marl stone, are closed off by a cornice above which profiled coping slab with vase-shaped ornamental piece in marl. Via a volute-shaped intermediate piece in brickwork the fence connects to the garden wall. The fence dates from the last quarter of the eighteenth century.
