CARRÉ LAAGBOUW van 20 eengezinswoningen, winkels en werkplaatsen. Ten oosten van het grote blok gelegen carré van 20 eengezinswoningen met daar tussen gelegen winkels en werkplaatsen op de hoeken. Het geheel heeft een rechthoekige aanleg met één toegang in de korte zijde op het zuiden en één in iedere lange zijde, verspringend ten opzichte van elkaar gelegen. Deze woningen hebben de hoofdtoegang aan de zijde van het binnenhof, maar hebben tevens een achterdeur aan de buitenzijde. De woningen zijn gegroepeerd in blokjes van twee onder één kap. De hoeken worden afgesloten met de werkplaatsen en tussen de woningblokjes verspreid liggen in totaal drie winkels. Doordat de woningen twee bouwlagen met kapopbouw hebben en de winkels en werkplaatsen één bouwlaag, ontstaat een alternerend beeld. De huizen zijn opgetrokken in baksteen en worden geleed met een horizontale betonnen band boven de begane grond en een kroonlijst. Op het platte dak staat in het midden een dakopbouw van één laag afgedekt met een schilddak met grijze oud-Hollandse pannen. Deze opbouw heeft een voor- en achtergevel in steen, maar zijwanden in hout. De opbouw van de voorgevels is symmetrisch met aan weerszijden van de symmetrie-as de voordeur en daarnaast een tweelicht kozijn dat op de verdieping is uitgevoerd als Frans balkon. De dakopbouw heeft twee halfronde vensters. De negge van vensters en deuren is witgeschilderd. De achtergevels hebben een achterdeur en een dubbelraam daarnaast. Deze ramen zijn voorzien van stores. De indeling van de woningen bestaat uit een brede beuk met een woonvertrek en de keuken respectievelijk twee slaapkamers op de verdieping en een smalle beuk waarin halletje, trappenhuis, een kleine kamer en sanitaire voorzieningen. De winkels bestaan uit één bouwlaag met een portiek op vier betonnen zuilen en terugliggende binnengevel met deur in het midden en twee vensters aan weerszijden. De werkplaatsen liggen op de vier hoeken van het carré en sluiten dit af. In tegenstelling tot de woningen zijn de werkplaatsen gericht op de buitenzijde van het blok. Het zijn eenlaags bakstenen gebouwen onder een plat dak. De BINNENHOF is aangelegd met gras en (sier)bomen. Hierin opgesteld is een natuurstenen beeld op gemetselde sokkel van de hand van beeldhouwer Marcus Ravenswaaij, voorstellende Sint Joris en de Draak ( 1959).

CARRE LAAGBOUW van 20 eengezinswoningen met werkplaatsen en winkels en BINNENHOF van algemeen belang vanwege:
- cultuurhistorische waarde als toonbeeld van een blok woningwetwoningen dat sterk gestuurd door de gemeente werd gebouwd ter leniging van de woningnood;

CARRÉ LOW-RISE BUILDING of 20 single-family dwellings, shops and workshops. Situated to the east of the large block, a carré of 20 single-family dwellings with shops and workshops located between them on the corners. The whole has a rectangular layout with one entrance in the short side on the south and one in each long side, offset in relation to each other. These dwellings have their main entrance on the side of the inner courtyard, but also have a back door on the outside. The dwellings are grouped in blocks of two under one roof. The corners are closed off with the workshops and between the dwelling blocks there are a total of three shops distributed throughout. Because the dwellings have two storeys with roof construction and the shops and workshops have one storey, an alternating appearance is created. The houses are built in brick and are articulated with a horizontal concrete band above the ground floor and a cornice. On the flat roof stands in the middle a roof construction of one storey covered with a hipped roof with grey traditional Dutch tiles. This structure has a front and rear gable in stone, but side walls in wood. The structure of the front facades is symmetrical with on either side of the axis of symmetry the front door and next to it a two-light window which on the upper floor is executed as a French balcony. The roof construction has two semicircular windows. The glazing bars of windows and doors are painted white. The rear facades have a back door and a double window next to it. These windows are provided with blinds. The layout of the dwellings consists of a wide aisle with a living room and kitchen respectively two bedrooms on the upper floor and a narrow aisle in which a hallway, stairwell, a small room and sanitary facilities. The shops consist of one storey with a portico on four concrete pillars and recessed inner facade with a door in the middle and two windows on either side. The workshops are located on the four corners of the carré and close it off. In contrast to the dwellings, the workshops are oriented towards the outside of the block. They are single-storey brick buildings under a flat roof. The INNER COURTYARD is laid out with grass and ornamental trees. Displayed in it is a natural stone sculpture on a mortared pedestal by sculptor Marcus Ravenswaaij, depicting Saint George and the Dragon (1959).

CARRÉ LOW-RISE BUILDING of 20 single-family dwellings with workshops and shops and INNER COURTYARD of general importance because of:
- cultural-historical value as an exemplary model of a public-housing block that was built under strong municipal direction to alleviate the housing shortage;
- architectural-historical value as an exceptional example of a deliberately sought monumentality executed in an Italianised style variant of the Bossche School. Important in the oeuvre of architects A. Evers and G.J.M. Sarlemijn;
- urban planning value because of the remarkable carré-shaped layout;
- ensemble value because of the functional-spatial relationship of the components.
