Onderdeel 14C
Inleiding
Boerderijcomplex Cranenbroek (thans Vredenoord genaamd), bestaande uit een erfaanlegstructuur , een stolpboerderij, een stenen schuur , en hekpijlers. De voorganger van dit boerderijcomplex was Huis Cranenbroek, genoemd in een leenakte van het Egmondse Huis. Het huis verbrandde in 1572 en werd, als onderdeel van de buitenplaats Nijenburg, in 1755 als boerenhofstede herbouwd.
Omschrijving
De in rode baksteen op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken STENEN SCHUUR werd in 1755 gebouwd. Aan de voorzijde een gevelsteen met stichtingsdatum. De schuur is overkapt door een met Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak en ligt iets ten westen van de stolp.
Waardering
De STENEN SCHUUR, deel uitmakend van het boerderijcomplex Cranenbroek (thans Vredenoord genaamd), is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:

Introduction
Farm complex Cranenbroek (now called Vredenoord), consisting of a farmyard layout structure, a stilt barn, a stone barn, and gate piers. The predecessor of this farm complex was Huis Cranenbroek, mentioned in a deed of fief of the House of Egmond. The house burned down in 1572 and was, as part of the country estate Nijenburg, rebuilt in 1755 as a farmstead.
Description
The STONE BARN, constructed of red brick on a rectangular ground plan, was built in 1755. On the front facade is a foundation stone with the date of construction. The barn is covered by a gabled roof tiled with Old Dutch tiles and is situated slightly to the west of the stilt barn.
