Omschrijving
Oostelijke BRUG MET TOEGANGSHEK behorende tot de buitenplaats Overvoorde. Het voorplein voor het huis wordt aan twee zijden afgesloten door twee identieke toegangshekken uit 1720 in Lodewijk XIV-stijl. Op een bakstenen boogbrug staan rood bakstenen pijlers op verspringende plattegrond met een natuurstenen basement en een natuurstenen bekroning gevormd door een piëdestal met bolvormige vaas. Tegen de voorzijde van de pijlers zijn met guirlandes en bladvormen versierde gekroonde wapenschilden geplaatst (cartouche). Tussen de pijlers een eenvoudige uitgevoerd hek van later datum; aan weerszijden waaiervormig uitlopende balustradehekken die door versierd smeedwerk met elkaar zijn verbonden, uitgevoerd in Lodewijk XVI stijl.

Description
Eastern BRIDGE WITH ENTRANCE GATE belonging to the country estate Overvoorde. The forecourt of the house is enclosed on two sides by two identical entrance gates from 1720 in Louis XIV style. On a brick arch bridge stand red brick piers on a stepped ground plan with a sandstone base and a sandstone capping formed by a pedestal with a spherical urn. Against the front of the piers are placed crowned armorial shields decorated with garlands and foliage motifs (cartouche). Between the piers a simply executed gate of later date; on either side fan-shaped balustraded gates which are connected by ornamental wrought ironwork, executed in Louis XVI style.
