WATERPOMP behorende bij de historische buitenplaats Rust en Vreugd. De pomp staat aan de Van Ommerenlaan tegenover het hoofdgebouw en is in 1916 geschonken door dhr. Ph. van Ommeren aan zijn echtgenote Wilhelmina Alida van Ommeren ter gelegenheid van haar vijftigste verjaardag. Waterpomp in Lodewijk XIV-stijl op vierkant grondvlak, bestaande uit een natuurstenen pomphuis met overhoeks geplaatste delen met acanthusbladmotieven. Bekronende koepel beëindigd met bolvormige bekroning. Aan de voorzijde (west) een waterspuwende leeuwenkop met koperen kraan. Daarboven in schrijfletters de tekst "Wilhelmina pomp 14 aug. 1866-1916. Aan rechter zijkant (zuid) een smeedijzeren pompzwengel met koperen knop.

WATER PUMP belonging to the historic country estate Rust en Vreugd. The pump stands on the Van Ommerenlaan opposite the main building and was presented in 1916 by Mr. Ph. van Ommeren to his wife Wilhelmina Alida van Ommeren on the occasion of her fiftieth birthday. Water pump in Louis XIV style on square ground plan, consisting of a natural stone pump house with parts placed at an angle with acanthus leaf motifs. Crowning dome terminated with spherical finial. On the front (west) a water-spouting lion's head with copper tap. Above this in script lettering the text "Wilhelmina pomp 14 Aug. 1866-1916. On the right side (south) a wrought-iron pump handle with copper knob.
