Omschrijving
Omschrijving onnderdeel 12: KARRESCHUUR.
Met donker geteerde houten delen opgetrokken karreschuur op rechthoekige grondslag op bakstenen plint, gesitueerd op het erf van boerderij de Grote Hoeve, onder met kruispannen gedekt schilddak (waarschijnlijk oorspronkelijk rieten dak). De schuur kent een gave 18de-eeuwse, of oudere gebintconstructie van deels nauwelijks bewerkte, gebogen stammen. Wellicht dateert de schuur in oorsprong uit de 17de eeuw.

De KARRESCHUUR op de historische buitenplaats Burgst is van algemeen belang vanwege:

Description
Description component 12: CART BARN.
Cart barn constructed with dark tarred wooden parts on a rectangular plan on a brick plinth, situated on the grounds of the farmstead de Grote Hoeve, under a hipped roof covered with Spanish tiles (probably originally a thatched roof). The barn has an intact 18th-century, or older roof truss structure of partly barely worked curved stems. The barn possibly dates originally from the 17th century.
