Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 11: VLAAMSE SCHUUR.
Op het erf van boerderij de Grote Hoeve gelegen Vlaamse schuur, oorspronkelijk 35 meter lang, maar na een brand in de 20ste eeuw aan de zuidzijde met één travee ingekort en thans circa 30 meter lang. De schuur is opgetrokken op rechthoekige grondslag met geteerde planken op een bakstenen plint en is overkapt door een rieten dak. De schuur dateert in oorsprong uit 1648 blijkens een inwendig in de houten constructie aangebrachte inscriptie. De korte zuidgevel, die na de brand in de 20ste eeuw in baksteen werd opgetrokken, is voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang.

De VLAAMSE SCHUUR op de historische buitenplaats Burgst is van algemeen belang vanwege:

Description
Description component 11: FLEMISH BARN.
Flemish barn located on the grounds of the farmstead de Grote Hoeve, originally 35 metres long, but shortened by one bay on the south side after a fire in the 20th century and now approximately 30 metres long. The barn is constructed on a rectangular plan with tarred boards on a brick plinth and is covered by a thatched roof. The barn dates originally from 1648 according to an inscription made inside the wooden structure. The short south gable, which was constructed in brick after the fire in the 20th century, is of subordinate importance for the protection.

The FLEMISH BARN on the historic country estate Burgst is of general importance because of:
