GRENSPALEN (4a en 4b) behorende bij de historische buitenplaats Backershagen.
4a. Ten zuidoosten van het huis staat een hardstenen grenspaal met de initialen B en P. De paal dateert vermoedelijk uit de achttiende eeuw.
4b. In de zuidwesthoek van de aanleg staat een hardstenen grenspaal van ca. 2 meter uit het laatste kwart van de negentiende eeuw, geplaatst ten tijde van het bezit van Z.K.H. Frederik der Nederlanden. Geprofileerde voet en beëindiging. Inscriptie: 'Eigen jagt Prins Frederik' en 'HOEK'. De grenspaal staat niet op de oorspronkelijke plaats.
Waardering
De GRENSPALEN zijn van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang:
- als karakteristiek en functioneel element;

BOUNDARY STONES (4a and 4b) belonging to the historic country estate Backershagen.
4a. To the southeast of the house stands a hardstone boundary stone with the initials B and P. The stone presumably dates from the eighteenth century.
4b. In the southwest corner of the grounds stands a hardstone boundary stone of approximately 2 metres from the last quarter of the nineteenth century, placed at the time of the ownership of H.R.H. Frederik of the Netherlands. Profiled base and termination. Inscription: 'Eigen jagt Prins Frederik' and 'HOEK'. The boundary stone is not in its original position.
