Door Publieke Werken van de gemeente Amstelveen in eclectische stijl ontworpen en rondom vrijgelegen voormalig ONTVANGSTGEBOUW annex DIENSTWONING van de Algemene Begraafplaats Zorgvlied. De dienstwoning heeft tot 1931 tevens gefungeerd als aula. De burgemeester van de gemeente Amstelveen legde in 1869 de eerste steen voor deze dienstwoning op oorspronkelijk T-vormig grondplan met twee bouwlagen en onder elkaar kruisende zadeldaken gedekt met rode pannen. Zowel in de noord- als westhoek is later in de oksel een vierkante annex onder plat dak aangebouwd. Hierdoor is het tegenwoordige grondplan nagenoeg rechthoekig. Deels gepleisterde en deels witgeschilderde gemetselde gevels met omlopende cordonlijst met profilering en decoratief metselwerk. Aan vier zijden een puntgevel met opgelegd en oplopend getand fries. Gevelbeëindiging met geprofileerde daklijst met afgeschuinde schouders en met overstek met beschot en gordingen. De tussenliggende gevels hebben een rechte beëindiging al dan niet met overstek. De geveltop van de voorgevel aan de ZO-zijde heeft een tuit met sierlijk smeedijzeren accent op de noklijn. Met uitzondering van de NW-zijde hebben de gevels een hoog spitsboogvormig spaarveld. De vensters hebben een meerruits geleding van raam en bovenlicht en een korte geprofileerde lijst op het gevelvlak ter hoogte van het kalf. De vensters op de begane grond zijn licht getoogd, die op de verdieping worden halfrond afgesloten. De voorgevel heeft een middenrisaliet waarin de licht getoogde hoofdtoegang met dubbele houten deur met (zij)lichten en met bovenlicht met roedenverdeling. Boven de cordonlijst het gemeentewapen van Amstelveen onder gekoppelde vensterpartij met pilasters op de penanten. Rond venster in de top van het spaarveld. De achtergevel aan de NW-zijde heeft een eenvoudige toegang en een groot rechthoekig en met stijlen drievoudig geleed venster met roedenverdeling.

Designed by Public Works of the municipality of Amstelveen in eclectic style and standing freely, former RECEPTION BUILDING annex SERVICE RESIDENCE of the Algemene Begraafplaats Zorgvlied. The service residence also functioned as a hall until 1931. The mayor of the municipality of Amstelveen laid the first stone for this service residence in 1869 on an originally T-shaped ground plan with two storeys and mutually crossing gabled roofs covered with red tiles. Later, a square annex with flat roof was built in the corner at both the north and west sides. This resulted in the current ground plan being almost rectangular. Partly rendered and partly whitewashed mortared facades with continuous cordon moulding with profiling and decorative brickwork. On all four sides a pointed gable with applied and ascending toothed frieze. Gable termination with profiled cornice with bevelled shoulders and with overhang with boarding and beams. The intermediate facades have a straight termination with or without overhang. The gable top of the front facade on the SE side has a spout with ornamental wrought iron accent on the roof ridge. With the exception of the NW side, the facades have a tall pointed-arch-shaped spandrel. The windows have multi-light glazing of window and fanlight and a short profiled moulding on the facade at the height of the sill. The windows on the ground floor are slightly arched, those on the upper floor are closed off semi-circularly. The front facade has a central risalit in which the slightly arched main entrance with double wooden door with (side) lights and fanlight with glazing bars. Above the cordon moulding the coat of arms of the municipality of Amstelveen under coupled window section with pilasters on the piers. Round window in the top of the spandrel. The rear facade on the NW side has a simple entrance and a large rectangular window with mullions and divided into three parts with glazing bars.
