Omschrijving onderdeel 25: VLOEDSCHUUR.
Terzijde van de boerderij 'De Mouwe' staat een op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken bakstenen vloedschuur (XIXa) met vlechtingen onder de dakrand. De schuur bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder een met gesmoordc Hollandse pannen gedekt wolfdak. De voorgevel (naar de dijk gekeerd) heeft getoogde dubbele deeldeuren geflankeerd door twee ijzeren rondboogvensters. De overige gevels zijn deels witgeschilderd met kleine getoogde ijzeren vierruits stalvensters. De schuur staat afgebeeld op de kadastrale minuut van omstreeks 1830.

De VLOEDSCHUUR van de boerderij De Mouwe, behorend tot de historische buitenplaats Mariënwaerdt is van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 25: FLOOD BARN.
Beside the farmhouse 'De Mouwe' stands a brick flood barn erected on a rectangular ground plan (XIXa) with wattling under the eaves. The barn consists of one storey under a wolf roof covered with damped Dutch tiles. The front facade (facing the dyke) has arched double split doors flanked by two iron round-arch windows. The remaining facades are partly whitewashed with small arched iron four-light barn windows. The barn is depicted on the cadastral map of c.1830.

The FLOOD BARN of the farmhouse De Mouwe, belonging to the historic country estate Mariënwaerdt is of general importance:
