Omschrijving onderdeel 4 OVERWELFDE DOORGANG IN HET PARK.
Rode bakstenen getoogde doorgang met keermuren, die een rechte aarden wal overwelft. De doorgang is gelegen in het verlengde van een wandelpad in de noordoost hoek van de bewaarde walsstructuur, die de omlijsting vormde van het alhier gelegen doolhof in het hart van park Zorgvliet. De bakstenen doorgang is zichtbaar op een gravure uit ca. 1700 en dateert dus van vòòr deze tijd.
Waardering
De OVERWELFDE DOORGANG IN HET PARK van het complex historische buitenplaats Zorgvliet is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de zeldzaamheidswaarde;
- als het enige bewaard gebleven gebouwde onderdeel van de formele tuin van Zorgvliet uit het einde van de 17de eeuw;
- vanwege de gaafheid;

Description
Description component 4 VAULTED PASSAGE IN THE PARK.
A red brick arched passage with retaining walls, which vaults a straight earthen embankment. The passage is located in line with a walking path in the north-east corner of the preserved embankment structure, which formed the outline of the maze situated here in the heart of park Zorgvliet. The brick passage is visible on an engraving from c.1700 and thus dates from before that time.
Valuation
The VAULTED PASSAGE IN THE PARK of the complex historic country estate Zorgvliet is of general cultural-historical importance:
- on account of its rarity value;
- as the only preserved built component of the formal garden of Zorgvliet from the end of the 17th century;
- on account of its completeness;
