Inleiding
Buitenste ring van een bijna gesloten vierkant WOONBLOK van twee bouwlagen en een kapverdieping met 60 boven/benedenwoningen, deel uitmakend van het complex "Patrimonium's Hof", gesitueerd rondom het aan de binnenhof gelegen woonblok en met de voorgevels op de buitenzijde georiënteerd.
Omschrijving
De gevel van het woonblok aan de Jasmijnstraat is aan weerszijden van de doorgang gespiegeld. Beide zijden bevatten drie heel licht risalerende geveldelen bekroond met een puntgevel. Hierin bevinden zich op de begane grond twee deuren en hierboven trapsgewijs twee smalle, hoge vensters, waarboven twee ruitvormige ornamenten van siermetselwerk. De puntgevels zijn voorzien van twee smalle, hoge vensters en een ruitvormig ornament van siermetselwerk. Aan weerszijden van deze risalieten bevat de gevel op de begane grond twee rechthoekige vensters; op de verdieping een ver uitstekende driehoekige erker op een trapsgewijs gemetselde bakstenen basis en hiernaast een smal hoog venster. Op de kap een dakkapel met twee vensters. De kopse zijgevels van het woonblok, aan weerszijden van de doorgang naar het binnenhof, zijn blind. De gevelhoeken zijn hier ter hoogte van de begane grond rondgemetseld en gaan dan trapsgewijs gemetseld over in een rechte hoek. De gevel aan de 1e Balsemienstraat heeft dezelfde indeling als die aan de Jasmijnstraat en bevat in het midden de halfronde poort naar de binnenhof, met gemetselde pijlers voorzien van natuurstenen basementen en bekroond met natuurstenen aanzetstenen voor de gemetselde rondboog. De gevel aan de Dahliastraat heeft eveneens eenzelfde indeling als die in de Jasmijnstraat. De zijde aan de Hillevliet bevat vier bredere puntgevels. Tussen de puntgevels op het dak bevinden zich steeds twee dakkapellen. Onder de puntgevel en de dakkapellen op de begane grond en de verdieping steeds twee rechthoekige vensters en in de puntgevel één venster. Tussen deze venstertraveeën bevinden zich op de begane grond alternerend twee deuren en een enkele deur en op de verdieping steeds twee smalle vensters. Boven de deuren bevinden zich vierkante ornamenten van siermetselwerk. De hoeken van het woonblok zijn hoger opgetrokken en bevatten op de hoek Hillevliet/ Dahliastraat, Hillevliet/1e Balsemienstraat en Balsemienstraat/Jasmijnstraat op de begane grond winkels, voorzien van een brede rechthoekige meerledige winkelpui. Alle hoeken zijn ter hoogte van de begane grond afgeschuind en bevatten hier een rechthoekig venster. Ter hoogte van de verdieping bevindt zich boven een trapsgewijs uitgemetselde basis een driehoekige erker. De achtergevels van het woonblok zijn zeer sober, met rechthoekige vensters en deuren en hier en daar balkons met gemetselde open borstweringen. Voor het overige gelden de kenmerken als omschreven in de complexomschrijving van "Patrimonium's Hof".

The facade of the residential block on Jasmijnstraat is mirrored on either side of the passageway. Both sides contain three very slightly projecting facade sections crowned with a stepped gable. Herein are located on the ground floor two doors and above this stepwise two narrow, tall windows, above which two diamond-shaped ornaments of decorative brickwork.
