Omschrijving
COLLECTIE TUINSIERADEN behorende tot de buitenplaats Bouvigne. In het begin van de twintigste eeuw is, door de toenmalige eigenaar mr. L. de Bruyn, de tuinaanleg van de Franse tuin gerealiseerd en verrijkt met een collectie achttiende- en negentiende-eeuwse beelden en tuinvazen; wellicht afkomstig uit Frankrijk en Italië.
a. op het voorterrein rechts van het poortgebouw staan twee BEELDENGROEPEN (een stel) van Franse kalksteen voorstellende twee putti met bloemenkrans staande op een ronde sokkel met twee in hoogreliëf aangebrachte dierkoppen die guirlandes in hun bek houden;
b. op het voorterrein staat een zandstenen TUINBANK op griffioenvormige poten;
c. in het noordelijk deel van de Franse tuin staat een FONTEIN van gegoten, fijn samengestelde mortel en bestaande uit een zuiltje waaromheen kinderfiguurtjes zijn gegroepeerd. Op de zuil rust een ronde schaal die met lood is bekleed;
d. eveneens in het noordelijk deel van de Franse tuin staat een marmeren VIJZEL, die als bloembak fungeert staande op een fragment van een zuil (mogelijk Romeins);
e. aan weerszijden van het pad met taxus in de Franse tuin (zichtlaan naar de kapel) staan acht marmeren taps toelopende SOKKELS; op twee sokkels aan het begin van de laan staat een zittende kinderfiguur van Franse kalksteen; op vier sokkels die de ingang van de twee dwarspaden markeren, staan in Franse kalksteen gehakte manden met bloemen/fruit;
f. in het midden van de Franse tuin staat een monumentale BEELDENGROEP van Franse kalksteen bestaande uit een hoge vierkante sokkel met geprofileerde dekplaat en een inspringend vlak versierd met bloemen en linten, waarop een groep van drie putti met bloemslingers rondom een tuinvaas op een zuil;
g. aan de zuidzijde van de Franse tuin staan twee TUINBEELDEN (een stel) bestaande uit een 18de-eeuwse witmarmeren buste geplaatst op taps toelopende sokkel van Franse kalksteen, vermoedelijk uit het begin van de 20ste eeuw;
h. in de coniferenhaag in de Engelse tuin staan zeven HERMEN (borstbeelden) gehakt in Franse kalksteen;
i. in de zuidoosthoek van de Engelse tuin staan voor een halfronde haag twee zandstenen TUINBEELDEN (een stel) bestaande uit een sokkel met een zittend figuurtje.

COLLECTION OF GARDEN ORNAMENTS belonging to the country estate Bouvigne. In the early twentieth century, the then owner Mr. L. de Bruyn realised the layout of the French garden and enriched it with a collection of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century sculptures and garden vases; possibly originating from France and Italy.
a. on the front courtyard to the right of the gatehouse stand two SCULPTURAL GROUPS (a pair) of French limestone depicting two putti with flower garland standing on a round base with two animal heads in high relief holding garlands in their mouths;
b. on the front courtyard stands a sandstone GARDEN BENCH on griffin-shaped legs;
c. in the northern part of the French garden stands a FOUNTAIN of cast, finely composed mortar and consisting of a small column around which child figures are grouped. The column is topped by a round bowl lined with lead;
d. also in the northern part of the French garden stands a marble MORTAR, functioning as a planter standing on a fragment of a column (possibly Roman);
e. on either side of the path with yew in the French garden (sight line to the chapel) stand eight marble tapering BASES; on two bases at the beginning of the avenue stands a seated child figure of French limestone; on four bases marking the entrance of the two transverse paths stand baskets with flowers/fruit carved in French limestone;
f. in the middle of the French garden stands a monumental SCULPTURAL GROUP of French limestone consisting of a high square base with profiled coping and a recessed flat surface decorated with flowers and ribbons, upon which a group of three putti with flower garlands around a garden vase on a column;
g. on the south side of the French garden stand two GARDEN SCULPTURES (a pair) consisting of an 18th-century white marble bust placed on a tapering base of French limestone, presumably from the early twentieth century;
h. in the conifer hedge in the English garden stand seven HERMS (bust sculptures) carved in French limestone;
i. in the south-east corner of the English garden stand two sandstone GARDEN SCULPTURES (a pair) in front of a semicircular hedge consisting of a base with a seated figure.
