NEERHUIS MET BOUWFRAGMENTEN ANNEX POORTGEBOUW
De westzijde van het voorterrein wordt afgesloten door de voormalige tuinmanswoning met koetshuis, stallen en een poortgebouw, gebouwd aan het begin van de 19de eeuw door bouwheer Ruysch, ter plaatse van een oudere voorganger zoals een tekening van C. Pronk uit 1729 toont. In 1907 is het gebouw in renaissance-stijl vernieuwd (zie gevelsteen); hierbij zijn de trapgevels, op de uiteinden en aan de westzijde, geplaatst. De trapgevels worden bekroond door een dennenappel. Restauratie en verbouwing in 1975-1976. Aan de noordzijde staat het poortgebouw met een getoogde doorgang tussen twee pilasters van natuurstenen blokken en onder een schilddakje met trapgevel. Op de pilasters is een smeedijzeren lamparm bevestigd. Links van het poortgebouw is een muurtje met nis en een gemetselde pijler bekroond door een schilddragende leeuw van zandsteen gemaakt eind 19de/begin 20ste eeuw. Rechts van het poortgebouw staat de blokvormige tuinmanswoning van twee bouwlagen onder een met pannen gedekt zadeldak tussen trapgevels. De oost- en westgevel hebben twee traveeën met Vlaamse gevels en een invulling van kruisvensters voorzien van halve luiken. De toegangsdeur bevindt zich in de oostgevel. Aansluitend de voormalige stallen met koetshuis (thans kantine) van één bouwlaag met Vlaamse gevels aan oostzijde. In de gevel is een dubbele, mogelijk vroeg 17de-eeuwse poort (bouwfragment) van Bentheimer zandsteen ingemetseld. De poort bestaat uit halfzuilen, twee rondbogen en een afdeklijst met in de zwikken een versiering van in reliëf gehakte guirlandes. In de spaarvelden zijn twee rondboog gedenkstenen van hardsteen aangebracht met daarin gehakt de namen van de bewoners van Bouvigne en de wapens in reliëf. Tegen dezelfde gevelwand staat een uit bouwfragmenten samengestelde witmarmeren muurtafel; een mogelijk 17de-eeuwse gevelsteen van Bentheimer zandsteen (geschilderd) waarop een zwaan in reliëf staat afgebeeld.

NEERHUIS WITH BUILDING FRAGMENTS ANNEX GATEWAY BUILDING
The west side of the forecourt is closed off by the former gardener's house with coach house, stables and a gateway building, built at the beginning of the 19th century by builder Ruysch, on the site of an older predecessor as shown by a drawing by C. Pronk from 1729. In 1907 the building was renewed in Renaissance style (see gable stone); in this process the stepped gables, at the ends and on the west side, were placed. The stepped gables are crowned by a pinecone. Restoration and renovation in 1975-1976. On the north side stands the gateway building with an arched passage between two pilasters of natural stone blocks and under a small hipped roof with stepped gable. A wrought-iron lamp arm is attached to the pilasters. To the left of the gateway building is a small wall with a niche and a masonry pier crowned by a stone-bearing lion of sandstone made in the late 19th/early 20th century. To the right of the gateway building stands the block-shaped gardener's house of two storeys under a tile-covered gabled roof between stepped gables. The east and west facades have two bays with Flemish gables and an infill of cross windows fitted with half shutters. The entrance door is located in the east facade. Adjoining are the former stables with coach house (now canteen) of one storey with Flemish gables on the east side. In the facade is a double, possibly early 17th-century door (building fragment) of Bentheimer sandstone set into the masonry. The door consists of half-columns, two round arches and a coping with garland decoration carved in relief in the spandrels. In the spandrels are two round-arched memorial stones of hardstone bearing the names of the residents of Bouvigne carved into them and the coats of arms in relief. Against the same wall stands a white marble memorial tablet composed of building fragments; a possibly 17th-century gable stone of Bentheimer sandstone (painted) on which a swan is depicted in relief.
