Omschrijving onderdeel 3:
PORTIERSWONING uit het midden van de 19de eeuw. Aan het begin van de oprijlaan gelegen, gebouwtje op T-vormige plattegrond onder twee haaks op elkaar staande met pannen gedekte zadeldaken. Het dwars geplaatste voorhuis is wit gepleisterd en van schijnvoegen voorzien. De geveltoppen van het dakoverstek zijn voorzien van een sierspant met makelaar en beschieting. Het achterhuis is opgetrokken van baksteen en heeft gesausde muren. Symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel met in het midden een terugspringende voordeur met schuin afdakje met grijze pannen. Hierboven een paneel met in reliëf 'Valkenberg'. Daar weer boven een als Vlaamse gevel doorlopende dakkapel met overstekend wolfdakje en een gekoppeld meerruitsvenster. Links en rechts van de ingang eveneens een samengesteld meerruitsvenster. De linkerzijgevel is symmetrisch van indeling. Begane grond met dubbele openslaande tuindeuren. Op de verdieping een stolpraam met een halfrond bovenlicht. De rechterzijgevel is symmetrisch van indeling. Begane grond met een driedelig venster op risalerende borstwering. Op de verdieping een driedelig vensters met halfronde bovenlichten.

PORTER'S LODGE from the mid-19th century. Located at the beginning of the drive, a small building on a T-shaped floor plan under two gabled roofs at right angles to each other covered with tiles. The transversely placed front section is white plastered and provided with false joints. The gable tops of the roof overhang are provided with an ornamental brace with molding and covering. The rear section is built of brick and has rendered walls. Symmetrically arranged front facade with a recessed front door in the middle with a sloping roof with grey tiles. Above this a panel with 'Valkenberg' in relief. Above that again a roof dormer continuing as a Flemish gable with overhanging half-hipped roof and a coupled multi-paned window. To the left and right of the entrance likewise a composite multi-paned window. The left side elevation is symmetrically arranged. Ground floor with double French doors. On the upper storey a casement window with a semicircular fanlight. The right side elevation is symmetrically arranged. Ground floor with a three-part window on a projecting parapet.
