BOERDERIJ MEIJER. Deze boerderij ligt links van de hoofdzichtlijn van het huis Verwolde. Zodra men het omgrachte terrein verlaten had, is dit de eerste, duidelijk zichtbare boerderij. Hallehuisboerderij van één bouwlaag onder voor de helft (horizontaal) met pannen en voor de helft met riet gedekt zadeldak. Baksteen gevels op gepleisterde plint. In de voorgevel, met in rode en gele baksteen uitgevoerde hoekpilasters, twee grote en twee kleine schuifvensters met luiken in de kleuren van Verwolde. De middelste twee, grote, vensters in een risaliserend deel waarvan de randen in gele baksteen zijn uitgevoerd. De strekken zijn in gele en rode baksteen uitgevoerd met in de strekken van de middelste vensters een sluitsteen. In de topgevel een venster met luik en bovenlicht, met links en rechts daarvan twee gepleisterde naamvelden met 'MEIJER' en '1886'. Links in de gevel deur met bovenlicht.

FARM MEIJER. This farm is situated to the left of the main sight line of the house Verwolde. Once one had left the moated terrain, this is the first clearly visible farm. Hall-house farm of one storey with for half (horizontally) tiled and for half thatch-covered hipped roof. Brick facades on plastered plinth. In the front facade, with corner pilasters executed in red and yellow brick, two large and two small sash windows with shutters in the colours of Verwolde. The middle two large windows in a projecting section whose edges are executed in yellow brick. The stretches are executed in yellow and red brick with in the stretches of the middle windows a keystone. In the top gable a window with shutter and fanlight, with on either side two plastered name panels with 'MEIJER' and '1886'. To the left in the facade a door with fanlight.
