Omschrijving onderdeel 3
TOEGANGSHEK behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Kasteel Gemert. De binnenplaats voor het kasteel wordt afgesloten door een achttiende-eeuws spijlenhek met speerpunten; centraal dubbele hekvleugels tussen oorspronkelijk gepleisterde pijlers (thans ontpleisterd) op een natuurstenen voetstuk en bekroond door een natuurstenen afdekplaat met ornament, De binnenplaats heeft een in patroon gelegde KEIENBESTRATING.

ENTRANCE GATE forming part of the historic country estate Kasteel Gemert. The courtyard before the castle is closed off by an eighteenth-century spear-head railing; centrally double gate leaves between originally plastered pillars (now unplastered) on an ashlar plinth and topped by an ashlar capping-plate with ornament. The courtyard has a PAVED SURFACE laid in pattern with setts.
