Omschrijving
TANKMUUR, inclusief vijf TOBRUKOPSTELLINGEN uit 1943-1944, deels ingebouwd in de bestaande Trekdijk, naar ontwerp van de genie van de Duitse Landmacht (General der Pioniere und Festungen) van het Obercommando des Heere te Berlijn. Gebouwd uit ter plaatse gestorte delen van circa vier meter lang, voorzien van Tobruk-mitrailleurnesten (in oorsprong acht, nu nog vijf resterend) en kleine schietgaten. Eén van de twee bijbehorende kanonkazematten van het type 700 resteert aan de zuidzijde en wordt separaat beschreven onder objectnummer 529385. Onderdeel van het complex Landfront Vlissingen, binnen de tankgracht met kazematten ten oosten van het kanaal door Walcheren en tankmuur bij Ritthem.

Description
ANTI-TANK WALL, including five TOBRUK POSITIONS from 1943-1944, partly built into the existing Trekdijk, designed by the engineering corps of the German Army (General der Pioniere und Festungen) of the Obercommando des Heere in Berlin. Built from cast-in-place sections of approximately four metres long, fitted with Tobruk machine-gun nests (originally eight, now five remaining) and small gun embrasures. One of the two associated gun casemates of type 700 remains on the south side and is separately described under object number 529385. Component of the Landfront Vlissingen complex, within the anti-tank ditch with casemates east of the canal through Walcheren and anti-tank wall at Ritthem.
