TANKGRACHT, natte gracht van 10 tot 14 en 22 meter breedte als deel van de hoofdverdedigingslijn, aangelegd naar ontwerp van de genie van de Duitse Landmacht (General der Pioniere und Festungen) van het Obercommando des Heeres) te Berlijn. Aangelegd in 1942-1943 met gedeeltelijke gebruikmaking van al bestaande watergangen. Onderdeel van het complex Landfront Vlissingen, binnen de tankgracht met kazematten ten oosten van het kanaal door Walcheren en tankmuur bij Ritthem.

ANTI-TANK DITCH, wet ditch 10 to 14 and 22 metres wide as part of the main defence line, laid out according to the design of the engineers of the German Army (General der Pioniere und Festungen of the Obercommando des Heeres) in Berlin. Laid out in 1942-1943 with partial use of existing watercourses. Part of the Landfront Vlissingen complex, within the anti-tank ditch with casemates east of the canal through Walcheren and anti-tank wall at Ritthem.
