Omschrijving
KANONKAZEMAT uit 1944, type 669, Schartenstand für Feldgeschutze (60°), naar ontwerp van de genie van de Duitse landmacht (General der Pioniere und Festungen) van het Obercommando des Heeres te Berlijn. Uitgevoerd met gebruikmaking van Formsteine. Het betreft een vereenvoudigde variant van het type 611, waarbij wegens materiaalschaarste alleen een ruimte voor geschut en munitie werd gebouwd. In oorsprong was deze kazemat gecamoufleerd als schuur. Het ontbreken van een aarden dekking is originele situatie. Onderdeel van het complex Landfront Vlissingen, binnen het Stützpunkt Von Kleist (Artillerieopstelling Verbrande Hofweg).

Description
GUN CASEMATE from 1944, type 669, Schartenstand für Feldgeschutze (60°), according to the design of the German Army engineers (General der Pioniere und Festungen) of the Obercommando des Heeres in Berlin. Executed using Formsteine. This is a simplified variant of type 611, in which, due to material shortage, only a space for gun and ammunition was built. Originally this casemate was camouflaged as a barn. The absence of an earth covering is the original situation. Part of the Landfront Vlissingen complex, within the Stützpunkt Von Kleist (Artillery position Verbrande Hofweg).
