Omschrijving onderdeel 2: ERFAANLEG
Erfaanleg als onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex 'Het nieuw Kasselder' als verbindend element tussen de overige onderdelen van het complex: de schuur en de boerderij met aangebouwde schuren. Het complex is gelegen op een lichte verhoging in het landschap in het buitengebied ten noorden van Sinderen. Een onverharde toegangsweg met aan weerszijden bomen vormt de verbinding tussen het boerderijcomplex en het eveneens onverharde Kasselderkerkpad. De toegangsweg komt uit op het grotendeels onverharde achtererf van het complex. Het achtererf heeft een functioneel karakter waaraan de achtergevel van de boerderij en de voorgevel van de droogschuur grenst. Aan de voorzijde van het voorhuis van de boerderij bevindt zich een siertuin met rechts van het voorhuis de moestuin. Achter de moestuin bevond zich een boomgaard die momenteel niet meer aanwezig is.
Waardering
De ERFAANLEG als onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex 'Het Nieuw Kasselder' is van algemeen tuinhistorisch, cultuurhistorisch en stedenbouwkundig belang:
- vanwege de karakteristieke indeling van een boerenerf bestaande uit een functionele inrichting van het grotendeels onverharde achtererf en een specifieke aanleg aan de voorzijde waarbij een onderverdeling is aangebracht tussen het siergedeelte en het nutsgedeelte bestaande uit een moestuin, voormalige boomgaard en een bleekveld;
- vanwege de onverharde toegangsweg met aan weerszijden bomen;
- vanwege de situering van het complex op een lichte verhoging in het landschap.

Description component 2: FARM YARD LAYOUT
Farm yard layout as part of the farm complex 'Het Nieuw Kasselder' as a connecting element between the other components of the complex: the barn and the farmhouse with attached barns. The complex is situated on a slight elevation in the landscape in the countryside north of Sinderen. An unmade access road with trees on either side forms the connection between the farm complex and the likewise unmade Kasselderkerkpad. The access road leads to the largely unmade rear farm yard of the complex. The rear farm yard has a functional character to which the rear facade of the farmhouse and the front facade of the drying barn are adjacent. At the front of the front house of the farmhouse there is a pleasure garden with the kitchen garden to the right of the front house. Behind the kitchen garden there was formerly an orchard which is no longer present.
