Omschrijving onderdeel 2: SMEEDIJZEREN HEKWERK.
Het smeedijzeren hekwerk aan de zijde van de A. Reijndersstraat bestaat uit heksegmenten met repeterend boogmotief en daarop pijlpunten. De heksegmenten bevatten slanke en spits beëindigde, enigszins verhoogde balustertjes. Aan de zijde van het buurpand B22 heeft het hekwerk twee openslaande deurtjes waarop liggende, sierlijke voluutmotieven; geheel rechts bevindt zich naast de oprit naar de patiënteningang nog een L-vormig restant van het smeedijzeren hekwerk. Het smeedijzeren hekwerk dateert uit 1888 en vormt de grens tussen de openbare weg en de particuliere tuin.
Waardering
Het smeedijzeren hekwerk vertegenwoordigt het algemeen belang op basis van:
- de ouderdom;
- de betekenis voor de historische perceelindeling, met name als erfscheiding tussen openbaar en particulier terrein;
- het historische vakmanschap dat in het smeedijzeren hekwerk besloten ligt;

Description
Description component 2: WROUGHT-IRON GATES.
The wrought-iron gates on the side of the A. Reijndersstraat consist of gate segments with repeating arch motif and thereon arrow points. The gate segments contain slender and pointed-ended, somewhat raised small balusters. On the side of the neighbouring property B22 the gates have two opening doors with reclining, graceful volute motifs; at the far right next to the drive to the patient entrance there is still an L-shaped remnant of the wrought-iron gates. The wrought-iron gates date from 1888 and form the boundary between the public road and the private garden.
Valuation
The wrought-iron gates represent the general interest on the basis of:

- the significance for the historical plot division, in particular as plot boundary between public and private land;
- the historical craftsmanship contained in the wrought-iron gates;
