Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 5A: Houten BRUG.
De houten brug van het voorplein naar het kasteel is in 1927-1928 vervangen. Deze ligt op een landhoofd en anderzijds op een gemetselde pijler die middels een boog met het huis is verbonden. Aan weerskanten van de opgang van de brug een leeuw met schild. De ene met het wapen van Gelderland en de ander met dat van Ammerzoden dat gelijk is aan het wapen van Arkel.
Waardering
De Houten BRUG, behorend tot de historische buitenplaats Well, is van belang:
- wegens het type;

Description
Description of component 5A: Wooden BRIDGE.
The wooden bridge from the forecourt to the castle was replaced in 1927-1928. It rests on a headland on one side and on a masonry pier which is connected to the house by means of an arch on the other. On either side of the bridge approach a lion with shield. One bears the arms of Gelderland and the other that of Ammerzoden which is the same as the arms of Arkel.
