In 1954 werd de Watertuin aangelegd. Het is een rechthoekige tuin zonder gazon, geheel betegeld met griontegels en voorzien van een breed pad, een terras en twee vijvers die onder het middenpad met elkaar in verbinding staan. De kleine rechthoekige vijver wordt gevoed door een natuurstenen leeuwenkopje. De andere vijver is L-vormig. Aan de noord- en oostzijde verhoogde (in twee lagen) terrasborders, opgetrokken uit gestapelde en gemetselde natuurstenen. In de borders rotsplanten en heesters. Aan de zuidwestzijde van de tuin waterminnende planten. In het terras zijn enkele vierkante plantvakken uitgespaard. Aan de noord-, oost- en westzijde werd de tuin oorspronkelijk omgeven door een haag van Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana ('Triomph van Boskoop'), thans is dit een haag van Chamaecyparis Alumii. In 1954 the Watertuin was laid out. It is a rectangular garden without lawn, entirely paved with gravel tiles and provided with a broad path, a terrace and two ponds that are connected to each other beneath the central path.
