Omschrijving onderdeel 5: HEKKEN.
De huisplaats wordt door een laag, 18de-eeuws smeedijzeren TOEGANGSHEK van de openbare weg afgesloten. In de hekstijlen symmetrisch siersmeedwerk uit de eerste helft van de 18de eeuw. Bovenin is de naam Vecht (en) Lommer weer op de oude plaats aangebracht. Tussen de hekstijlen eenvoudige vleugels met rechte spijlen van jongere datum. De overtuin is toegankelijk via een ijzeren HEK in Jugendstilvormen tussen gemetselde bakstenen pijlers met natuurstenen afdekplaat en bol. Dit hek is na 1925 aangebracht en vervangt een houten voorganger.

Description
Description component 5: GATES.
The property is separated from the public road by a low, 18th-century wrought-iron ENTRANCE GATE. In the gate posts symmetrical decorative ironwork from the first half of the 18th century. At the top the name Vecht (en) Lommer has been reinstated in its original place. Between the gate posts simple wings with straight bars of more recent date. The forecourt garden is accessible via an iron GATE in Art Nouveau forms between mortared brick pillars with natural stone cap and ball finial. This gate was installed after 1925 and replaces a wooden predecessor.
