Inleiding
Kassenensemble bestaande uit 5 KNIEKASSEN in Ambachtelijke Traditionele stijl op een perceel behorende bij huisnummer 155 en één KNIEKAS in Ambachtelijke Traditionele stijl met crete op perceel behorende bij huisnummer 157. De vijf kassen zijn achter het woonhuis langs de poldersloot, de enkele kas is aan de weg gelegen. De kassen, uit het begin van de twintigste eeuw, zijn omgeven door nieuwe warenhuizen en andere bedrijfsruimten. Nieuwe en oude kassen zijn van elkaar afgescheiden door sloten.
Omschrijving
De vijf op betonnen plinten geplaatste kniekassen (Groeneweg 155) hebben een stalen dek en spantconstructie. De bovenlichten kunnen allen tegelijk worden geopend- en gesloten door middel van een hendel- en tandradconstructie. De deuren zijn van hout. De kassen hebben een smeedijzeren makelaar, waarvan twee nog voorzien van smeedijzeren S-voluten. De op een betonnen plint geplaatste enkele kniekas (Groeneweg 157) heeft een ijzeren dek en spantconstructie. De crete op de daklijst bestaat uit alternerende gietijzeren sierornamenten met florale motieven. Aan de uiteinden smeedijzeren makelaars met S-voluten als de kassen bij huisnummer 155.
