Omschrijving complexonderdeel 31
Vrijstaande ijzeren KAS uit het laatst van de 19de eeuw op rechthoekige plattegrond met een zadeldak; de nokrichting loopt globaal noordwest-zuidoost en het dak rust op een gemetselde borstwering. Op de borstwering is geen (zoals te doen gebruikelijk) staand glas geplaatst. Beide korte gevels zijn tot aan de nok geheel opgetrokken in baksteen. Het glasdek bestaat uit ijzeren glasroeden met leigewijs geplaatste ruiten. Enige toegangsdeur in de korte noordwestgevel. In de kas tekenen zich sporen af van tabletten (werktafels). Hoogstwaarschijnlijk fungeerde deze tabletkas als kweek- en/of bloemenkas.

De vrijstaande, ijzeren kas uit het laatst van de 19de eeuw op rechthoekige plattegrond en voorzien van een zadeldak vertegenwoordigt algemeen belang op basis van:

Description of complex component 31
Freestanding iron GREENHOUSE from the latter part of the 19th century on a rectangular plan with a gabled roof; the ridge direction runs roughly northwest-southeast and the roof rests on a masonry parapet. On the parapet no standing glass has been placed (as is customary). Both short gables are built entirely in brick up to the ridge. The glass roof consists of iron glazing bars with slates placed in slate-wise fashion. A single access door in the short northwest gable. In the greenhouse traces of shelving (work tables) are evident. Most likely this shelf greenhouse served as a propagation and/or flower greenhouse.
Valuation of complex component 31
The freestanding iron greenhouse from the latter part of the 19th century on a rectangular plan and provided with a gabled roof represents general importance on the basis of:
- its age;
- its rarity;
- its factual, historical and symbolic significance with regard to the independence of the monastery;
- its functional and historical involvement with the monastery complex and the garden layout.
