Omschrijving complexonderdeel 22
BEELD VAN CHRISTUS OP DE KOUDE STEEN. Het beeld heeft een rood bakstenen sokkel, voorzien van een betonnen plaat. Datering: circa 1900. Het beeld staat tegen de binnenzijde van de kloostermuur langs de Tuinstraat, even ten zuiden van het baldakijn met Mariabeeld en ten oosten van St. Gregor. Christus is met geboeide handen en zittend weergegeven, hij draagt een rode mantel en heeft een doornenkroon op het hoofd. Een aedicula omvat het beeld. De grijs geschilderde aedicula bestaat uit twee zuilen voorzien van basement en bladkapitelen, de achterwand is bruin, het zadeldak is van beton en wordt door een zinken plaat afgedekt.

Het beeld van Christus op de Koude steen bezit algemeen belang wegens:

Description of complex component 22
IMAGE OF CHRIST ON THE COLD STONE. The image has a red brick base, furnished with a concrete slab. Dating: circa 1900. The image stands against the inside of the monastery wall along Tuinstraat, just south of the baldachin with image of Mary and to the east of St. Gregor. Christ is depicted with bound hands and sitting, wearing a red mantle and a crown of thorns on his head. An aedicula encompasses the image. The gray-painted aedicula consists of two columns furnished with base and leaf capitals, the back wall is brown, the gabled roof is concrete and is covered with a zinc plate.

The image of Christ on the Cold Stone is of general importance for the following reasons:
