De WATERTOREN uit 1910 in het oostelijke deel van de kloostertuin behorende bij het Missieklooster van de Congregatie van het Goddelijk Woord, SVD (missionarissen van Steyl) en is een ontwerp van architect P.M. Scholl. De vrijstaande, taps toelopende watertoren op ronde grondslag heeft een bakstenen romp met een breder waterreservoir aan de bovenzijde. De hoogte van de toren bedraagt ruim 31 meter. De segmentboogvormige toegangsdeur heeft een dorpel met metselwerk. De torenwand bevat enkele smalle segmentboogvormige vensteropeningen; halverwege de schacht van de toren is een omlopende waterlijst aangebracht. Bovenaan de toren kraagt het waterreservoir uit tot een diameter van circa vijf meter; het reservoir heeft enkele rechthoekige vensters en een plat dak. Op het platte dak staat een ajour metalen kruis, zeer fragiel en met tuikabels bevestigd. Het interieur bevat onder meer een smalle gietijzeren trap en een groot metalen watervat in het reservoir.

Description of complex component 14
The WATER TOWER from 1910 in the eastern part of the monastery garden belonging to the Mission Monastery of the Congregation of the Divine Word, SVD (missionaries of Steyl) and is a design by architect P.M. Scholl. The free-standing, tapering water tower on a circular ground plan has a brick shaft with a wider water reservoir at the top. The height of the tower measures just over 31 metres. The segment-arch-shaped access door has a lintel with masonry. The tower wall contains a few narrow segment-arch-shaped window openings; halfway up the shaft of the tower a running drip moulding is fitted. At the top of the tower the water reservoir projects to a diameter of approximately five metres; the reservoir has a few rectangular windows and a flat roof. On the flat roof stands an open-work metal cross, very fragile and secured with guy-cables. The interior contains, amongst others, a narrow cast-iron staircase and a large metal water vessel in the reservoir.
