Tegenover het Missiemuseum te Steyl staat op de kruising van Veerweg en St. Michaëlstraat een granieten BEELD VAN DE GODDELIJKE ZAAIER, een gedenkteken uit 1928 voor Arnold Janssen. Het beeld staat op een vierkante sokkel en werd vervaardigd door het atelier Jos Thissen uit Roermond. Aan de achterzijde van het beeld staat een kruisvormige natuurstenen plaat opgesteld. In de voorzijde van de sokkel is een bronzen plaquette aangebracht met een afbeelding van pater Arnoldus Janssen geflankeerd door een knielende figuur (links) en een staande figuur (rechts), hieronder de tekst: "ARNOLDUS JANSSEN". Op sokkel boven de bronzen plaquette staat de tekst "VERBUM DEI" (als verwijzing naar Societas Verbi Divini - Congregatie van het Goddelijk Woord). Sokkel met beeld is geplaatst op een achthoekig basement dat is voorzien van stenen trappen. Rondom een lage muur met daarop kleine kolommen met hiertussen een smeedijzeren stang.

Het beeld van Christus als Goddelijke Zaaier bezit algemeen belang wegens:

- de symbolische betekenis voor de kloosterlijke stichtingen in Steijl;

Description of complex component 5
Opposite the Mission Museum in Steyl, at the intersection of Veerweg and St. Michaëlstraat, stands a granite STATUE OF THE DIVINE SOWER, a memorial from 1928 for Arnold Janssen. The statue stands on a square plinth and was created by the workshop of Jos Thissen from Roermond. On the rear side of the statue a cross-shaped natural stone panel is placed. On the front of the plinth a bronze plaque is installed with an image of pater Arnoldus Janssen flanked by a kneeling figure (left) and a standing figure (right), below this the text: "ARNOLDUS JANSSEN". On the plinth above the bronze plaque stands the text "VERBUM DEI" (as a reference to Societas Verbi Divini - Congregation of the Divine Word). Plinth with statue is placed on an octagonal basement that is provided with stone steps. Around it a low wall with on it small columns with between them a wrought iron rail.
