Omschrijving onderdeel 15 (voormalige boerderij achter de oranjerie): BOERDERIJ behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Broekhuizen.
Verborgen achter de oranjerie ligt de boerderij, het oudste gebouw van de huidige buitenplaats. Op de tekeningen van Roghman uit 1646 wordt op deze plaats een agrarisch bijgebouw getekend. Ook op de oudste kadastrale kaarten staat op deze plaats een gebouw.
Het gebouw van het type langhuisboerderij is opgetrokken van diverse soorten en formaten rode baksteen, waarvan de oudste uit de 18de eeuw dateren. De boerderij is thans als opslagruimte, werkplaats en stalling in gebruik.
Gebouw van één bouwlaag hoog, opgetrokken van rode baksteen op rechthoekige plattegrond onder met blauwe pannen gedekt schilddak. Het metselwerk is deels 17de-eeuws met op de hoeken klezoren in de koppenlagen. Aan moestuinzijde vensters van verschillende grootte. In de naar de oranjerie gewende gevel een deur geflankeerd door een roedevenster. Houten deuren in de lange noordgevel.
In een van de vertrekken is een betimmering uit het begin van de 20ste eeuw aangebracht in renaissancestijl.

De voormalige BOERDERIJ achter de oranjerie is van belang:

Description of component 15 (former farmhouse behind the orangery): FARMHOUSE belonging to the historic country estate Broekhuizen.
Hidden behind the orangery lies the farmhouse, the oldest building of the present country estate. In the drawings by Roghman from 1646 an agricultural outbuilding is drawn in this location. Also on the oldest cadastral maps a building stands in this location.
The building of the long-house farmhouse type is constructed from various types and sizes of red brick, the oldest of which date from the 18th century. The farmhouse is now in use as storage space, workshop and stalling.
Building of one storey high, constructed from red brick on a rectangular ground plan under a hipped roof covered with blue tiles. The brickwork is partly 17th-century with corner dentils in the cope courses. On the vegetable garden side windows of various sizes. In the facade facing the orangery a door flanked by a casement window. Wooden doors in the long north facade.
In one of the rooms panelling from the early 20th century has been installed in Renaissance style.
