Omschrijving onderdeel 6: VERDEDIGINGSMUUR MET HOEKTOREN EN PRIEEL behorende tot de buitenplaats Neercanne.
De muur voor het huis is in de 15de eeuw als verdedigingselement gebouwd en in 1698 als terrasmuur in de aanleg opgenomen. De mergelstenen muur met hardstenen afdekplaat wordt geschoord door twee rondelen met in het zuidelijke rondeel een met trap (vluchtgang) naar het tweede terras, een smal overgangsterras met twee torens nog uit het begin van de zeventiende eeuw.

De VERDEDIGINGSMUUR MET HOEKTOREN EN PRIEEL is van algemeen belang:

Description component 6: DEFENSIVE WALL WITH CORNER TOWER AND ARBOUR belonging to the country house Neercanne.
The wall in front of the house was built in the 15th century as a defensive element and in 1698 incorporated in the design as a terrace wall. The marl stone wall with hard stone coping is braced by two roundels with in the southern roundel a staircase (flight passage) to the second terrace, a narrow intermediate terrace with two towers still from the early seventeenth century.
