Inleiding
INCOMPLETE MOLEN. De ronde stenen molen is in 1858 gebouwd als korenmolen. De molen is in 1938 onttakeld, waarbij het wiekenkruis, de kap, de stelling en het gaande werk werden verwijderd. De incomplete molen kreeg een functie als opslagruimte en is tot op heden als zodanig in gebruik. Hij ligt aan de oostzijde van de oude Rijksstraatweg, aan de zuidwestkant van het dorp en is door zijn beduidende afmetingen van ver zichtbaar in een redelijk open omgeving.
Omschrijving
De incomplete molen bestaat uit de ronde conisch en enigszins getailleerd gemetselde bakstenen romp. De uit vijf bouwlagen bestaande incomplete molen is thans voorzien van een zadeldak.
Waardering
De incomplete molen is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege bouwtechnisch-historische waarden als herkenbaar en representatief relict van een ronde stenen korenmolen uit het midden van de 19e eeuw;
- vanwege cultuurhistorische waarden als onderdeel van de geschiedenis van de graanmaalderijen van Nederland en de industriële ontwikkeling van Zeeland en de plaatselijke geschiedenis;

INCOMPLETE MILL. The round stone mill was built in 1858 as a grain mill. The mill was dismantled in 1938, whereby the sails, cap, frame and machinery were removed. The incomplete mill was given a function as storage space and continues to be used as such to date. It lies on the east side of the old Rijksstraatweg, on the southwest side of the village and due to its considerable dimensions is visible from afar in a reasonably open environment.
Description
The incomplete mill consists of the round conical and somewhat tapered mortared brick hull. The incomplete mill, consisting of five storeys, is currently provided with a gabled roof.

The incomplete mill is of general importance:
- due to construction-historical values as a recognisable and representative relic of a round stone grain mill from the mid-19th century;
