Omschrijving onderdeel 10: IJSKELDER behorende tot de buitenplaats Eerde.
Ten noordoosten van de huisplaats ligt een uit rode baksteen opgetrokken, overwelfde ijskelder met cirkelvormige plattegrond. De kelder wordt bovengronds afgesloten door een taps toelopende gemetselde bakstenen muur met hardstenen sluitstukken op de hoeken; de linker sluitsteen draagt het jaartal 1860, de rechter sluitsteen het jaar 1985, respectievelijk de data waarop de kelder tot stand kwam en gerestaureerd werd. Centraal in de muur een verdiept gelegen getoogde houten deur in een geprofileerde gemetselde omlijsting, die toegang verschaft tot de kelder. Inwendig een eenvoudige houten trap naar de met houten vlonders bedekte bodem. Het terrein voor de ingang is bestraat met keien.

De IJSKELDER behorende tot de buitenplaats Eerde is van algemeen belang:

Description component 10: ICE HOUSE belonging to the country estate Eerde.
North-east of the house site lies an ice house constructed of red brick, with a barrel vault and circular floor plan. The cellar is closed above ground by a tapered mortared brick wall with sandstone corner blocks; the left corner block bears the year 1860, the right corner block the year 1985, respectively the dates on which the cellar was created and restored. Centrally in the wall a recessed arched wooden door in a moulded mortared surround, which provides access to the cellar. Internally a simple wooden stair to the bottom covered with wooden duck-boards. The ground in front of the entrance is paved with cobblestones.
Valuation
The ICE HOUSE belonging to the country estate Eerde is of general importance:
- on account of its age;
- on account of its simple, practical design;
- as a representative and rare example of an ice house from the second half of the 19th century;
- on account of the functional spatial relationship with the other components of the country estate.
