BOERDERIJ (hallehuis-type), uit vermoedelijk 1858 met TUSSENLID en AANGEBOUWDE SCHUUR, genaamd 'Loobergen'.
De boerderij, ten zuiden van de ter plaatse oostwest lopende Schelmseweg, bestaat uit een boerderij en een daarmee verbonden houten schuur. Het complex ligt op de rand van een hoge heuvelrug.
De boerderij met tussenlid en aangebouwde houten schuur heeft een u-vormige plattegrond en één bouwlaag. De boerderij heeft een tussen eindgevels geplaatst zadeldak gedekt met gesmoorde oud-Hollandse pannen. De in baksteen (kruisverband) opgetrokken gevels zijn voorzien van een omlopende plint.
De voorgevel is symmetrisch ingedeeld met drie tussen houten lekdorpels en strekken gevatte vensters. De ramen bevatten zesruits schuiframen. Boven het middelste raam komt een gevelsteen voor met de naam 'LOOBERGEN'. In de topgevel bevindt zich een groot rondboogvenster met zesruits stolpraam onder een uitgemetselde schouderboog.
De linker zijgevel kent enkele wijzigingen. In het woongedeelte bevinden zich twee niet-oorspronkelijke vensters met daartussen een gewijzigde deur. In het achterhuis is de gevel deels vernieuwd en bevat twee zesruits ijzeren stalramen.
De achtergevel is eveneens symmetrisch ingedeeld met in de middenas dubbele opgeklampte deuren onder een segmentboog welke is voorzien van een jaartalsteen '18 -17-8- 58'. Links en rechts van de deuren bevindt zich een halfrond stalvenster. Op de gevelhoeken komen staldeuren onder een rollaag voor. De verdieping wordt bezet door een hooiluik en in de top een rondvenster gevat in een uitgemetselde omlijsting.
Tegen de rechter zijgevel van het voorhuis is een aanbouw van een schuur geplaatst. De gevel van het stalgedeelte bevat, in een klampmuur twee betonnen stalramen. Het tussenlid is geheel in hout opgetrokken. De houten aangrenzende schuur bevat deels gemetselde gevels waartegen planken delen.
Waardering
De BOERDERIJ met TUSSENLID en AANGEBOUWDE SCHUUR als onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats 'Mariëndaal' is van algemeen belang:
- als typologisch voorbeeld van een hallehuisboerderij met aangebouwde schuur op een landgoed;

FARMHOUSE (hall-house type), presumed to date from 1858 with INTERMEDIATE SECTION and ATTACHED BARN, named 'Loobergen'.
The farmhouse, south of the Schelmseweg which runs east-west at this location, consists of a farmhouse and a wooden barn connected to it. The complex is situated on the edge of a high ridge.
The farmhouse with intermediate section and attached wooden barn has a U-shaped floor plan and one storey. The farmhouse has a gabled roof positioned between end gables and covered with Dutch clay tiles. The gables, constructed in brick (English bond), are provided with a continuous plinth.
The front facade is symmetrically arranged with three windows set between wooden drip moulds and stretchers. The windows contain six-pane sash windows. Above the central window there is a decorative stone with the name 'LOOBERGEN'. In the top gable there is a large round-arched window with a six-pane hopper window beneath a rendered shoulder arch.
The left side gable has undergone some alterations. In the residential section there are two non-original windows with an altered door between them. In the rear house the gable has been partly renewed and contains two six-pane iron stable windows.
The rear gable is also symmetrically arranged with double clasped doors in the central axis beneath a segmental arch which bears a date stone '18 -17-8- 58'. To the left and right of the doors there is a half-round stable window. On the gable corners there are stable doors beneath a roll moulding. The storey is occupied by a hay window and at the top a round window set in a rendered surround.
Against the right side gable of the front house is an attached barn. The gable of the stable section contains, in a clamp wall, two concrete stable windows. The intermediate section is constructed entirely of wood. The adjacent wooden barn has partly rendered gables with timber cladding against them.
Valuation
The FARMHOUSE with INTERMEDIATE SECTION and ATTACHED BARN as part of the historic country estate 'Mariëndaal' is of general importance:
- as a typological example of a hall-house farmhouse with attached barn on a country estate;
- as a particular expression of a development in the occupation history of the country estate;
- owing to its functional and situational value through prominent placement on a ridge;
- owing to its ensemble value in relation to the other components of the historic country estate 'Mariëndaal';
