Inleiding
INCOMPLETE MOLEN. De als grondzeiler uitgevoerde achtkante bovenkruier met de naam 'Molen No. 6' is omstreeks 1650 gebouwd en was ingericht als ondermolen van de polder (droogmakerij) De Honderd Morgen of Wilde Venen en voorzien van een inwendige molenaarswoning. De molen vormde samen met 'Molen No. 5' een tweehoog malende gang vijzelmolens. Het betreft hier een zeer vroege toepassing van vijzels als wateropvoerwerktuig. Naast deze tweegang was er voor de bemaling nog een gang van vier schepradmolens waarvan eveneens nog restanten bestaan. De molen is omstreeks 1925 onttakeld, waarbij het wiekenkruis, de kap en het gaande werk werden verwijderd. De incomplete molen kreeg in de Tweede Wereldoorlog een functie als luchtwachtpost en werd hiertoe ongeveer met een meter verhoogd. Hij heeft thans een functie als woning. Nabij de incomplete molen staat het restant van 'Molen No. 5'. De incomplete molen heeft een belangrijke landschappelijke functie.
Omschrijving
De incomplete molen bestaat uit een gemetselde bakstenen voet met daarop een houten achtkant. De van twee bintlagen voorziene molenromp is gedekt met riet en voorzien van een plat dak. Bij en onder de molen zijn nog de gemetselde waterlopen aanwezig, met inbegrip van de vijzelkuip.
Waardering
De incomplete molen is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege bouwtechnisch-historische waarden als herkenbaar en representatief relict van een houten achtkante poldermolen uit het midden van de 17e eeuw;
- vanwege cultuurhistorische waarden als essentieel onderdeel van de ontginnings- en waterstaatkundige geschiedenis van Zuid-Holland en Schieland in het bijzonder en de plaatselijke geschiedenis;
- vanwege ensemblewaarden in relatie tot het restant van 'Molen No. 5';
- vanwege situationele waarden betreffende de historische gaafheid van de omgeving;
- vanwege de gaafheid van de molenbiotoop;

Introduction
INCOMPLETE MILL. The octagonal upper rotating mill, executed as a smock mill and named 'Mill No. 6', was built around 1650 and was fitted as a lower mill for the polder (drainage project) De Honderd Morgen or Wilde Venen and provided with an internal miller's dwelling. The mill together with 'Mill No. 5' formed a two-stage grinding series of screw pump mills. This concerns a very early application of screw pumps as a water-lifting device. Alongside this two-stage mill there was also a series of four scoop wheel mills for drainage, of which remnants also still exist. The mill was dismantled around 1925, whereby the windlass cross, the cap and the machinery were removed. The incomplete mill was given a function during the Second World War as an air-watch post and was raised by approximately one metre for this purpose. It now functions as a dwelling. Near the incomplete mill stands the remnant of 'Mill No. 5'. The incomplete mill has an important landscape function.
Description
The incomplete mill consists of a brick masonry base with on top a wooden octagon. The mill hull, provided with two binding layers, is covered with thatch and provided with a flat roof. At and under the mill the brick watercourses are still present, including the screw pump pit.

The incomplete mill is of general importance:
- for constructional and historical values as a recognizable and representative relic of a wooden octagonal polder mill from the mid-17th century;
- for cultural-historical values as an essential part of the reclamation and water management history of South Holland and Schieland in particular and of local history;
- for ensemble values in relation to the remnant of 'Mill No. 5';
- for situational values concerning the historical integrity of the surroundings;
- for the integrity of the mill biotope;
