Inleiding
MOLENROMP. De als stellingmolen uitgevoerde ronde stenen molen uit een onbekend bouwjaar was ingericht als korenmolen. De molen is onttakeld, waarbij het wiekenkruis, de kap, de stelling en het gaande werk werden verwijderd. De molenromp ligt aan de rand van het dorp. De molenromp staat ingebouwd op een mengvoederfabrieksterrein. De diverse aanbouwen van de molen vallen buiten de werking van de monumentenwet. De molenromp is zichtbaar in een open omgeving.
Omschrijving
Het staande werk van de molenromp bestaat uit de ronde conisch gemetselde bakstenen romp van een stellingkorenmolen. De molenromp is voorzien van een plat dak. In de molenromp bevinden zich silo's. Verschillende deuren en vensters van de molenromp zijn dichtgemetseld.
Waardering
De molenromp is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege bouwtechnisch-historische waarden als herkenbaar en representatief relict van een ronde stenen korenmolen;
- vanwege cultuurhistorische waarden als onderdeel van de geschiedenis van de graanmaalderijen van Nederland en de industriële ontwikkeling van Gelderland en de plaatselijke geschiedenis;
- vanwege de gaafheid van de molenbiotoop.

MILL BODY. The round stone mill constructed as a post mill from an unknown date of construction was fitted out as a grain mill. The mill has been dismantled, whereby the sails, roof, gallery and operating machinery were removed. The mill body lies at the edge of the village. The mill body stands built into a compound feed factory site. The various annexes to the mill fall outside the scope of the Heritage Act. The mill body is visible in an open setting.
Description
The standing structure of the mill body consists of the round conically built brick body of a post grain mill. The mill body is furnished with a flat roof. Within the mill body are silos. Various doors and windows of the mill body have been bricked in.
Valuation
The mill body is of general importance:
- because of construction-historical values as a recognizable and representative remnant of a round stone grain mill;
- because of cultural-historical values as part of the history of grain milling in the Netherlands and the industrial development of Gelderland and local history;
