Omschrijving

Description
Residential house with coachhouse.
The RESIDENTIAL HOUSE is a two-storey building, with rectangular footprint in the width direction, with attic storey beneath a gabled roof, covered with Dutch tiles. The roof is fitted with four brick chimneys. The coachhouse, of which only the front facade is visible, stands against the left side wall of the residential house. It has one storey and forms architecturally a unified whole with the residential house. The building has a facing of reddish-brown field-fired bricks with masonry in English bond. The window and door frames are of wood.
The front facade is executed more richly than the rear facade. The left section of the building projects forward in relation to the right section of the building. The front facade is divided into six bays. The facade is articulated vertically by pilasters and corner pilasters with cemented plinth and natural stone rectangular capital motifs, which at the top are connected by a natural stone drip moulding. Above the drip moulding of the coachhouse is located an attic in the form of a hardwood balustrade between the capital ends. The gable ends and openings are marked with alternating natural stone blockwork conforming to the capitals. The second and fifth bays are risalients and terminate in a stepped gable, where the shoulder pieces also serve as the capitals of the pilasters. The steps are topped with a natural stone cap plate. Between the first and second storey at both risalients is a stuccoed representation with natural stone block-shaped moulding. In the left risalient a representation of deer is placed, in the right risalient the name of the estate, "Les Beaux Champs". In the top gables of both risalients a round niche is placed with natural stone moulding with voussoirs, with in the left risalient a representation of a female figure and in the right risalient a clock.
The segmental arch-shaped gable openings are marked with toothed natural stone door and window mouldings and have a hardstone plinth. In each bay is located in the first and second storey a T-window, except in the third and fifth bays. These two bays have in the first storey a door opening with a glazed double wooden door and fanlight, with the door opening in the third bay flanked by two round arch-shaped window openings with projecting and voussoir stones. The second bay differs because in the first storey there is a multi-pane window. The right stepped gable is narrower and steeper than the other stepped gables. The steps are capped with a natural stone cap plate. Partially the facade is articulated vertically by pilaster reinforcements, which at the top are connected by decorative masonry in the form of block and dentil decoration. In the facade are located on the right two round arch-shaped gable openings which are closed in. The first storey has from left to right the following gable openings under soffit: a small rectangular window, a wooden door with glazed panel provided with decorative wrought ironwork and fanlight, a rectangular cottage window, a lightly segmental arch-shaped multi-pane window, a door with a representation of two horse heads at the top, a rectangular window, a lightly segmental arch-shaped window, a cottage window, and finally a wooden segmental arch-shaped door. In some rooms on the ground floor the authentic high panelled doors are still present and a large stucco ornament is located on the ceiling. The ceiling ornaments possess floral motifs. The remainder of the interior has been modernized on several occasions.
Against the left side wall of the residential house stands over the entire first storey the coachhouse. The rest of the wall is blank.
