Inleiding
Het vrijstaande BAKHUIS ligt aan de oostkant van de boerderij. De recente uitbreiding aan de noordkant behoort niet tot het monument.
Omschrijving
Het bakhuis met zoldertje heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond. Het is gedekt door een zadeldak voorzien van rode Oudhollandse pannen liggend tussen tuitgevels. De aan de zuidkant uitgebouwde bakoven met vierkante plattegrond is op de zelfde manier gedekt door een zadeldakje. Gedeeltelijk hangt de oven vrij van het onderliggende maaiveld. In de topgevel boven de deur een klein zolderluik. In de andere topgevel een siersmeedijzeren balkanker. Het oorspronkelijke raam in de zuidgevel is vervangen door twee betonnen venstertjes. Het opgaande werk bestaat uit een combinatie van geel en rood genuanceerde handgevormde baksteen in IJsselformaat gemetseld in kruisverband. De oven is authentiek.
Waardering
Het bakhuis heeft cultuurhistorische waarden: het object is van belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van een technische en typologische ontwikkeling. Het object heeft architectuurhistorische waarden: het is van bijzonder belang voor de geschiedenis van de bouwtechniek.

The detached BAKEHOUSE lies on the east side of the farm. The recent extension on the north side does not form part of the monument.
Description
The bakehouse with small loft has a rectangular plan. It is covered by a gabled roof with red Old Dutch tiles between spout gables. The bake oven with square plan built out on the south side is covered in the same way by a small gabled roof. The oven partially hangs free of the underlying ground level. In the stepped gable above the door a small loft hatch. In the other stepped gable an ornamental wrought-iron wall anchor. The original window in the south facade has been replaced by two small concrete windows. The external walls consist of a combination of yellow and red-nuanced hand-moulded brick in Yssel format laid in stretcher bond. The oven is authentic.
Valuation
The bakehouse has cultural-historical values: the object is of importance as a particular expression of a technical and typological development. The object has architectural-historical values: it is of particular importance for the history of building technique.
