Kortgevelboerderij, opgetrokken in Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant en daterend uit XVIIB. In XIXB ingrijpend gewijzigd en uitgebreid tot langgevelboerderij. Circa 1980 verbouwd tot woonhuis. Aan de weg een vrijstaande schuur en enkele volwassen linden.
Omschrijving
De boerderij onder afgewolfd zadeldak met gesmoorde muldenpannen op het wolfeinde boven het voormalig woongedeelte en overigens grijze betonpannen is op een rechthoekige plattegrond opgetrokken uit handvormbaksteen in kruisverband. De korte gevel met de hoofdingang is ouder dan de overige gevels en dateert nog uit XVIIB. In het midden een groot venster met 20-ruits schuifraam en dubbele luiken. Erboven sporen van ontlastingbogen van twee oudere vensters. Links daarnaast de vernieuwde voordeur. Uiterst links een klein 6-ruits raam. Uiterst rechts het opkamervenster met ontlastingboog met strekken. Direct onder de wolfseinden links en rechts een luik in kozijn met overstekende onder- en bovenkalven. Vlechtingen met bouwsporen van verhoging van de kap. Lelieankers. Op de scheiding van het vroegere woongedeelte en het bedrijfsgedeelte een bijzondere, decoratief gemetselde schoorsteen met stervormige doorsnede op de nok.
De lange rechtergevel heeft na een verbouwing in XIXB waarbij het muurwerk geheel vernieuwd werd, het karakter van de voorgevel van een langgevelboerderij gekregen. Ter plaatse van het woongedeelte een venster met 20-ruits schuifraam en dubbele luiken, lekdorpel. Rechts een deur met 3-ruits bovenlicht. Ter hoogte van de voormalige stal vensters met 6-ruits ramen en dubbele luiken met lekdorpel. In een venster met 4-ruits raam veranderde staldeur. Dubbele deeldeuren, oorspronkelijk toegang gevend tot een dwarsdeel. Staaf- en X-vormige muurankers. Tijdens de restauratie zijn alle kozijnen, vensters, deuren en luiken vervangen.
Waardering
De voormalige kortgevelboerderij uit XVIIB, in XIXB gewijzigd, is van algemeen belang. Ze heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een zich in de loop der eeuwen uitbreidende en verjongende kortgevelboerderij met vrijstaande schuur die de ontwikkeling naar een langgevelboerderij illustreert. De boerderij heeft architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de in- en uitwendig gaaf behouden hoofdstructuur en het traditionele materiaalgebruik alsmede vanwege onderdelen van het interieur. De boerderij is van belang voor de bouwgeschiedenis vanwege de afleesbaarheid van de bouwsporen. Het pand heeft zeldzaamheidswaarde vanwege de ouderdom en de gemetselde schoorsteen met stervormige doorsnede. Samen met de bijbehorende vrijstaande schuur heeft de boerderij ensemblewaarde in de landelijke context van de buurtschap Achterste Brug. Het pand is straatbeeldbepalend.

Short-gable farmhouse, constructed in artisanal-traditional building style and dating from the second half of the 17th century. In the 19th century substantially modified and extended to a long-gable farmhouse. Around 1980 converted to residential house. On the road a detached barn and several mature lime trees.
Description
The farmhouse under a vaulted gabled roof with suppressed pan tiles on the half-hipped end above the former residential part and otherwise grey concrete tiles is constructed on a rectangular ground plan from handmade brick in Flemish bond. The short gable with the main entrance is older than the other facades and still dates from the second half of the 17th century. In the middle a large window with 20-pane sash window and double shutters. Above, traces of relieving arches from two older windows. To the left of that the renewed front door. At the far left a small 6-pane window. At the far right the upper-chamber window with relieving arch with stretchers. Directly beneath the half-hipped ends left and right a shutter in frame with projecting lower and upper cants. Weaving with building traces of roof raising. Lily anchors. On the division of the former residential part and the business part a distinctive, decoratively laid chimney with star-shaped cross-section on the ridge.
The long right gable has after a renovation in the 19th century in which the masonry was entirely renewed, acquired the character of the front facade of a long-gable farmhouse. At the location of the residential part a window with 20-pane sash window and double shutters, drip moulding. To the right a door with 3-pane fanlight. At the height of the former stable windows with 6-pane windows and double shutters with drip moulding. In a window with 4-pane window a converted stable door. Double divided doors, originally providing access to a transverse section. Rod-shaped and X-shaped wall anchors. During restoration all frames, windows, doors and shutters were replaced.
Assessment
The former short-gable farmhouse from the second half of the 17th century, modified in the 19th century, is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as an example of a short-gable farmhouse expanding and renewing over the course of centuries with detached barn which illustrates the development towards a long-gable farmhouse. The farmhouse has architectural-historical value because of the internally and externally well-preserved main structure and the traditional use of materials as well as because of components of the interior. The farmhouse is important for building history because of the legibility of the building traces. The property has rarity value because of its age and the laid chimney with star-shaped cross-section. Together with the associated detached barn the farmhouse has ensemble value in the rural context of the hamlet Achterste Brug. The property is character-determining in the streetscape.
