Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 1: (Rijksstraatweg 127; op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr.1) HOOFDGEBOUW ('t Velde).
De omgrachte havezate is in de loop van de zestiende eeuw tot stand gekomen en rond 1700 aan de westzijde uitgebreid. In 1824 is het bakstenen huis wit gepleisterd en eveneens van Empire-vensters voorzien, die bij de restauratie (1962-1965) zijn vervangen door de huidige meerruits vensters. Het pand heeft een hoofdvleugel bestaande een souterrain en twee bouwlagen onder een schilddak met dwars op de achtergevel (noord) twee tegen elkaar gebouwde vleugels van verschillende lengte afgesloten door trapgevels. Tegen de oostzijde van de hoofdvleugel een torenachtig paviljoen met tentdak. Hierbij aansluitend langs het voorplein een lagere vleugel onder een schilddak met op de zuidoosthoek een achtzijdig torentje bekroond door een klokvormige helm. Alle gevels kennen een regelmatige invulling van meerruits vensters. De voorgevel wordt gevormd door zeven traveeën waarin een a-symmterisch geplaatste ingangspartij aan een halfrond zandstenen bordes (identiek aan De Voorst). De omlijste toegangsdeur heeft een halfrond bovenlicht met spaakroeden. Bij de restauratie in 1962-1965 zijn onder de pleisterlaag zandstenen driehoekige renaissance-elementen met schelpmotief en een fries van afwisselend bakstenen en mergelstenen blokjes blootgelegd. In het dakschild van de zijvleugel een duiventil. In het INTERIEUR is ondermeer het stucwerk in de hal (XIX a) van belang en achttiende-eeuwse schouwen. Het huis in onderkelderd met ton- en graatgewelven.
Waardering
Het HOOFDGEBOUW ('t Velde) is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;

The moated manor house was created over the course of the sixteenth century and enlarged on the west side around 1700. In 1824 the brick house was whitewashed and likewise furnished with Empire-style windows, which were replaced during the restoration (1962-1965) by the present multi-pane windows. The building has a main wing consisting of a basement and two storeys under a hipped roof with two wings of different lengths built against each other on the rear façade (north) and terminated by stepped gables. Against the east side of the main wing a tower-like pavilion with a tent roof. Adjoining this along the forecourt a lower wing under a hipped roof with at the southeast corner an octagonal turret crowned by a bell-shaped helmet. All façades feature a regular arrangement of multi-pane windows. The front façade is formed by seven bays with an asymmetrically placed entrance section on a semicircular sandstone steps (identical to De Voorst). The framed entrance door has a semicircular fanlight with radial glazing bars. During the restoration in 1962-1965 triangular Renaissance sandstone elements with shell motifs and a frieze of alternating brick and marl stone blocks were uncovered beneath the plaster layer. In the roof slope of the side wing a dovecote. In the INTERIOR the stuccowork in the hall (19th century first half) is of note, as well as eighteenth-century fireplaces. The house has a basement with barrel and groin vaults.
