Omschrijving
TOEGANGSHEK, XIX Het meest westelijke toegangshek staat aan het begin (dorpszijde) van de officiële oprijlaan naar het landhuis, het wordt momenteel niet meer gebruikt. De ronde bakstenen pijlers met hardstenen kanteelbekroningen zijn met elkaar verbonden door de oorspronkelijke smeedijzeren hekvleugels. Ze vertonen in stijl verwantschap met het werk van P.J. H. Cuypers. Vanwege Cuypers' betrokkenheid bij het ontwerp van het hoofdgebouw is het goed mogelijk dat het hek door hem of in zijn atelier ontworpen is.

ENTRANCE GATE, 19th century. The most westerly entrance gate stands at the beginning (village side) of the official driveway to the country house, it is currently no longer in use. The round brick pillars with ashlar crenellated tops are connected to each other by the original wrought-iron gate wings. They show stylistic affinity with the work of P.J. H. Cuypers. On account of Cuypers' involvement in the design of the main building it is quite possible that the gate was designed by him or in his workshop.
