Omschrijving onderdeel 7: RUINE.
Achter het hoofdgebouw, op de westhoek tussen de binnen- en buitengracht staat een vrijstaande ruïne van een oorspronkelijk ronde bakstenen torenmolen uit het einde van de 14de of begin 15de eeuw. De bakstenen toren in Vlaams verband gemetseld heeft een diameter van 7.90m en muren van 1.50m dikte in de kelder. In het muurwerk vele nissen met spie- en schietgaten. In de overkoepelde benedenruimte bevindt zich een put met aan de rand de toegang tot de put door een zeven meter lange, gebogen tunnel.
Waardering
De RUINE is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de archeologische waarde;
- als restant van de versterkte burcht;
- vanwege de functioneel-ruimtelijke relatie met de andere onderdelen van de historische buitenplaats.

Description
Description of component 7: RUIN.
Behind the main building, on the west corner between the inner and outer moat stands a detached ruin of an originally round brick tower mill from the end of the 14th or beginning of the 15th century. The brick tower built in Flemish bond has a diameter of 7.90m and walls of 1.50m thickness in the basement. In the masonry many niches with wedge slots and gun ports. In the vaulted lower space is a well with at its edge the access to the well through a seven metre long, curved tunnel.
