Omschrijving onderdeel 9: SLANGENMUUR (9A) met MUURKAS (9B).
9A: Slangenmuur van omstreeks 1735 aan de noordwestzijde van het perceel, feitelijk bestaande uit twee identieke muren, waartussen een ruime doorgang met houten poortdeuren. De vorm van de muren is identiek, vrij kleine ondiepe slingers, maar de achterste muur is uitgevoerd in voor de 18de eeuw ongewoon grote baksteen, die echter wel uit deze tijd schijnt te dateren en geen hergebruikt ouder materiaal is. Deze muur heeft bovendien nog een kort, vlak deel haaks op het eind geplaatst. Tegen de buitenzijde zijn hier en daar steunberen gemetseld om de muur tegen omvallen te behoeden. De muur is de hoogste nog bestaande fruitmuur in Nederland en vertoont in zijn vorm sterke overeenkomsten met die van Hilverbeek.
Waardering
De SLANGENMUUR, behorend tot de historische buitenplaats Schaepenburgh is van algemeen belang:
- wegens de ouderdom;
- wegens de functionele betekenis voor de buitenplaats;
- als voorbeeld van een inmiddels vrij zeldzaam bouwtype.
9B: Tegen de achterste muur is in de tweede helft van de 19de-eeuw een muurkas gebouwd. Het bouwwerk is van rode baksteen opgetrokken tegen de muur en ligt onder een lessenaarsdak. In de korte zijde een toegangsdeur.

Description
Description component 9: SERPENTINE WALL (9A) with WALL CASE (9B).
9A: Serpentine wall of around 1735 on the north-west side of the plot, actually consisting of two identical walls, between which a spacious passage with wooden gate doors. The form of the walls is identical, relatively small shallow serpentines, but the rear wall is executed in unusually large brick for the 18th century, which however appears to date from this period and is not reused older material. Moreover, this wall has a short, flat section placed at right angles at the end. On the outside, buttresses are here and there built in to protect the wall from collapse. The wall is the highest still existing fruit wall in the Netherlands and shows in its form strong similarities with that of Hilverbeek.
Valuation
The SERPENTINE WALL, belonging to the historic country estate Schaepenburgh, is of general importance:

9B: Against the rear wall a wall case was built in the second half of the 19th century. The structure is built of red brick against the wall and lies under a lean-to roof. In the short side an access door.
