De noordelijke toegangslaan in de as van het huis wordt over de voormalige slotgracht naar het voorplein geleid middels een eenvoudige BRUG met gemetselde bakstenen hoofden, houten brugdek en gietijzeren balustrade. De brug is vermoedelijk een 19de-eeuwse vervanger van een 18de-eeuws exemplaar.
Waardering
De BRUG behorende tot de buitenplaats Oud Amelisweerd is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de kenmerkende ligging in de as van het huis, over de voormalige slotgracht;

The northern access avenue along the axis of the house is led across the former castle moat to the forecourt by means of a simple BRIDGE with masonry brick abutments, wooden bridge deck and cast-iron balustrade. The bridge is presumably a 19th-century replacement of an 18th-century example.
