Omschrijving onderdeel 7: PRIEEL.
Achter het huis staat een rond, halfopen (naar het oosten) witgeschilderd houten prieel op rond bakstenen plateau uit XIX. De opbouw bestaat uit een halfronde wand van verticale brede delen. De open zijde is door twee zeer dunne ronde houten paaltjes in drieën gedeeld waarvan de bovenzijde van de openingen net onder het overstekende rieten kegelvormige dak lichtgetoogd zijn dichtgezet met plankjes, waarin boven één der togen vlieggaten (voor duiven), die toegang geven tot het zoldertje onder het dak; buitenkant van de dichte wand donkergroen; inwendig: speciaal voor het prieel gemaakte halfronde houten bank tegen de dichte wand, zacht okergeel.

Het PRIEEL, behorend tot de historische buitenplaats De Horte, is van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 7: GAZEBO.
Behind the house stands a round, half-open (facing east) white-painted wooden gazebo on a round brick platform from the 19th century. The structure consists of a semi-circular wall of vertical broad sections. The open side is divided into three parts by two very thin round wooden posts, the tops of the openings just below the overhanging thatched conical roof are closed with small boards, above one of the openings are flight holes (for pigeons), which provide access to the small loft beneath the roof; outside of the closed wall dark green; inside: a semi-circular wooden bench specially made for the gazebo against the closed wall, soft ochre yellow.
