Omschrijving onderdeel 6: WITTE HUIS.
In de middenlaan (laan naar Wijthmen), ter hoogte van de eerste haakse bocht in de oprijlaan ligt een huisje uit 1905 gebouwd als biljartkamer en sinds 1945 in gebruik als woning. Het wit geverfde bakstenen gebouwtje op rechthoekige plattegrond bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder flauw hellend, overstekend zadeldak met grijze pannen; meerruits vensters met onderluiken; lichtgetoogde nissen boven de ramen; daarboven muurankers. Het Witte Huis heeft betekenis als folly en point-de-vue in de middenlaan. In het interieur is een deel van de betimmering uit de bouwtijd.
Waardering
Het WITTE HUIS, behorend tot de historische buitenplaats De Horte, is van algemeen belang:
- wegens de ouderdom;

Description of component 6: WHITE HOUSE.
In the central avenue (avenue towards Wijthmen), at the level of the first right-angled bend in the driveway, there is a small house built in 1905 as a billiard room and since 1945 used as a dwelling. The white-painted brick building on a rectangular footprint consists of one storey under a gently sloping, overhanging gabled roof with grey tiles; multi-pane windows with shutters below; slightly arched niches above the windows; ornamental wall anchors above these. The White House has significance as a folly and point-de-vue in the central avenue. In the interior, part of the woodwork from the construction period is preserved.
