Omschrijving onderdeel 1: Hoofdgebouw
Het hoofdgebouw bestaat uit een toren en een gedeelte van de kelders van het oude huis De Kemnade waarop in 1957 een nieuw gebouw is neergezet. De aan de buitenzijde zestienhoekig en aan de binnenzijde ronde toren dateert van omstreeks 1500. De toren is opgetrokken van rode baksteen, afgewisseld door natuurstenen banden. De twee boven elkaar gelegen ruimtes zijn met kruisribgewelven afgedekt. De ribben worden in het midden door een achtzijdige pijler opgevangen. Op verschillende plaatsen zijn vensters ingehakt. Van de oude kelders behorende tot het 15de-eeuwse huis is alleen de kelder onder het gebouw van 1957 bewaard gebleven. De tweede kelder, onder het huidige terras, is in 1957 gedicht. De kelder wordt overwelfd door een kruisribgewelf dat in het midden wordt opgevangen door een vierkante pijler met inspringende hoeken.

Description
Description component 1: Main Building
The main building consists of a tower and a section of the cellars of the old house De Kemnade onto which a new building was erected in 1957. The tower, sixteen-sided on the exterior and round on the interior, dates from around 1500. The tower is constructed of red brick, alternated with bands of natural stone. The two spaces situated one above the other are covered with cross-ribbed vaults. The ribs are received in the centre by an octagonal pier. Windows have been cut through in various places. Of the old cellars belonging to the 15th-century house only the cellar under the 1957 building has been preserved. The second cellar, under the current terrace, was closed off in 1957. The cellar is overvaulted by a cross-ribbed vault which is received in the centre by a square pier with recessed corners.
