Omschrijving onderdeel 1:
Vrijstaande BOERDERIJ met POTSTAL als onderdeel van het BOERDERIJCOMPLEX 'Meijershof' dateert grotendeels uit 1877 met oudere onderdelen in het interieur waaronder bouwkundige elementen van de vroegere Hof van Borne. De boerderij is een voortzetting van de voormalige hof van Borne daterend uit de 12e eeuw. De boerderij is van het type T-boerderij waarvan de huidige verschijningsvorm van het voorhuis neoclassicistische invloeden vertoont. Het voorhuis met rechthoekige plattegrond bestaande uit een bouwlaag is opgetrokken in baksteen en wordt afgesloten door een schilddak gedekt met rode pannen met op de nok twee hoekschoorstenen. De gevels met gepleisterde plint zijn voorzien van getoogde raamopeningen. De gevel wordt afgesloten door een kroonlijst en gepleisterde hoeklisenen. De entree in het midden van de voorgevel wordt benadrukt door een Vlaamse gevel afgesloten door een tympaanvormig hoofdgestel met gepleisterde hoeklisenen. Het achterhuis met aangebouwde potstal bestaande uit één bouwlaag is opgetrokken in baksteen afgesloten door een aan één zijde geknikt zadeldak. Op de begane grond in de achtergevel bevindt zich centraal een teruggelegen dubbele deur met glasindeling met aan weerszijden een halfrond gietijzeren stalraam met roedenverdeling. Uiterst links en rechts in de gevel bevindt zich een houten staldeur. In de geveltop bevindt zich een gietijzeren rosetvenster. De deuropeningen worden afgesloten door een korfboog met wit gepleisterde aanzet- en sluitstenen. In het interieur bevinden zich waardevolle onderdelen die uit diverse perioden dateren waaronder een balkenplafond, stucplafonds (eind 19e eeuw), glas-in-lood ramen, betegelingen en betonemmaille lambrisering (interbellum), paneeldeuren, poepdoos en een gebintconstructie. Ook de structuur van het huis is goed bewaard gebleven bestaande uit een voor- en achterhuis. Het voorhuis is voorzien van een kelder, een begane grond met een middengang en een zolder. Het achterhuis staat haaks op het voorhuis waarbij de gebintconstructie zorgt voor een driebeukige plattegrond bestaande uit een brede middenbeuk en smalle zijbeuken.
Waardering
De vrijstaande BOERDERIJ met POTSTAL is van algemeen architectuurhistorische, stedenbouwkundige en cultuurhistorische waarde:
- als goed en gaaf voorbeeld van een historisch gegroeide boerderij waarvan de uiterlijke verschijningsvorm grotendeels dateert van omstreeks 1877 met wijzigingen uit de vroege 20e eeuw met waardevolle onderdelen in het interieur waaronder bouwkundige elementen van het vroegere Hof te Borne;
- als onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex 'de Meijershof' als voortzetting van het oorspronkelijke Hof te Borne waarvan de geschiedenis teruggaat tot de 12e eeuw;

Detached FARMSTEAD with CATTLE SHED as part of the FARMSTEAD COMPLEX 'Meijershof' is largely dated to 1877 with older components in the interior including building elements of the former Hof van Borne. The farmstead is a continuation of the former Hof van Borne dating from the 12th century. The farmstead is of the T-farmstead type, of which the current appearance of the front house shows neoclassical influences. The front house with rectangular floor plan consisting of one storey is constructed of brick and is enclosed by a hipped roof covered with red pantiles with two corner chimneys on the ridge. The gables with rendered plinth are provided with arched window openings. The gable is enclosed by a cornice and rendered corner pilasters. The entrance in the centre of the front gable is emphasized by a Flemish gable enclosed by a tympanum-shaped main lintel with rendered corner pilasters. The rear house with attached cattle shed consisting of one storey is constructed of brick enclosed by a gabled roof angled on one side. On the ground floor in the rear gable is centrally situated a recessed double door with glazing with on either side a half-round cast-iron cattle window with glazing bars. At the far left and right in the gable is a wooden cattle door. In the gable top is a cast-iron rose window. The door openings are enclosed by a segmental arch with white rendered impost and springer stones. The interior contains valuable components dating from various periods including a beam ceiling, stucco ceilings (late 19th century), stained glass windows, tilework and concrete enamel wall panelling (interwar period), panelled doors, a privy and a truss structure. The structure of the house is also well preserved consisting of a front and rear house. The front house is provided with a cellar, a ground floor with a central corridor and an attic. The rear house stands at right angles to the front house, whereby the truss structure provides for a three-aisle floor plan consisting of a wide central aisle and narrow side aisles.

The detached FARMSTEAD with CATTLE SHED is of general architectural-historical, urban planning and cultural-historical value:
- as a good and intact example of a historically developed farmstead of which the external appearance largely dates from circa 1877 with alterations from the early 20th century with valuable components in the interior including building elements of the former Hof van Borne;
- as part of the farmstead complex 'de Meijershof' as a continuation of the original Hof van Borne whose history dates back to the 12th century;
- by reason of the agricultural function as reference to the originally agricultural settlement in Borne.
