Inleiding.
De TIMMERWERKPLAATS in Ambachtelijk-Traditionele stijl is omstreeks 1880 gebouwd. Zij staat links van het woonhuis en is iets naar achter gelegen.
Omschrijving.
De eenvoudige timmerwerkplaats is een eenlaags bouwwerk op L-vormige plattegrond onder zadeldak en opgetrokken uit machinale baksteen in overwegend halfsteensverband. Het dak is belegd met kruispannen en heeft geen goot. In de oksel van het bouwwerk steekt een brede taps toelopende schoorsteen uit het dak omhoog. Deze markeert de interne tweedeling van het bouwwerk. De kleinste ruimte bevindt zich onder het dakgedeelte met een flauwere helling. De voorgevel van de grootste ruimte is tuitvormig en heeft twee rechtgesloten vensters met zesruits schuiframen en op de verdieping twee vierkante enkelruits ramen. In de zijgevel zijn twee hoge ijzeren ramen met roedenverdeling aangebracht. In de lange achtergevel bevinden zich twee deuren die toegang geven tot de twee ruimten. Op de verdieping is een laadluik aangebracht, dat uitkomt boven de grootste ruimte. In de zijgevel van de kleine ruimte wordt een rechtgesloten venster met dubbel klapraam aangetroffen. Een vergelijkbaar venster is aangebracht in de terugspringende voorgevel van de kleinste ruimte. In de oksel van het bouwwerk is een gemetselde put aangebracht.
Waardering.
Het object is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische en architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van de typologie van de eenvoudige werkplaats in de Meijerij, het is tevens van belang in relatie tot het zeldzame en ter plaatse behouden wegprofiel en herinnert daarmee aan de eertijds aanwezige situatie. Het gebouwtje heeft ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van het complex. Het is volledig en gaaf bewaard gebleven en is een van de weinig overgebleven voorbeelden van een eertijds gangbaar type.

The CARPENTRY WORKSHOP in Craft-Traditional style was built around 1880. It is situated to the left of the dwelling house and is positioned somewhat further back.
Description.
The simple carpentry workshop is a single-storey building on an L-shaped ground plan under a gabled roof and constructed from machine-made brick predominantly in half-brick bond. The roof is laid with interlocking tiles and has no gutter. In the angle of the building a broad tapering chimney projects upward from the roof. This marks the internal division of the building. The smallest space is situated under the roof section with a gentler pitch. The front facade of the largest space is spout-gable-shaped and has two flush-to-wall windows with six-pane sash windows and on the storey two square single-pane windows. In the side facade two tall iron windows with glazing bars are installed. In the long rear facade there are two doors providing access to the two spaces. On the storey a loading hatch is installed, which opens above the largest space. In the side facade of the small space a flush-to-wall window with double hinged casement window is found. A similar window is installed in the recessed front facade of the smallest space. In the angle of the building a brick well is installed.
Valuation.
The object is of general importance. It has cultural-historical and architectural-historical value as an example of the typology of the simple workshop in the Meijerij, and is also of importance in relation to the rare and locally preserved road profile, and thus recalls the situation that existed formerly. The small building has ensemble value as part of the complex. It has been completely and well preserved and is one of the few remaining examples of a type that was formerly common.
